How to get involved with Motorsport.
You don't have to own a car to get involved in Motorsport. The Club is always looking for people to assist in different roles within the events.
Do you enjoy watching Motorsport and being at events like the V8 Supercars?
Do you want to get closer, so close that you can feel the cars go past? Well Motorsport needs you. Motorsport is an event where a lot of people make it happen. Unlike a typical game of rugby where there is only one referee, to run a Motorsport Race meeting can take up to 100 volunteers and who do many and varied jobs.
Some of the jobs may include: flag marshalling (circuit racing), block marshalling (rallying and rallycross), time keeping (all events), grid marshalling (circuit racing) just to name a few. If you have an interest in Motorsport and would like to get up close and personal, with the track, the cars and the drivers, then Motorsport needs you. In the Auckland area please contact Craig Holmes on 021-889-488 or at secretary@aucklandcarclub.org.nz.
Many of our volunteers are supported by The Motorsport Club. Click HERE to see how you can get involved through them.
