Race Radio Receivers

As many of you are already aware, Hampton Downs and Taupo now require all drivers to be equipped with a race radio receiver.  The Club has purchased a supply of receivers and is offering them for sale two ways:

  • Purchased through your entry for a race meeting.
  • Purchased separately through MotorSport Online/Sporty.

The cost of the receiver is $205 (including GST).

To purchase a race radio receiver through Sporty, either click HERE.

​​​​​​​You will be asked to login to Sporty and then a form similar to an entry form will open.  Your details will be pre-populated and you can select delivery or pickup of the receiver.  If you choose delivery, a New Zealand Post courier charge will be added to your purchase.


 
 

The receiver is a three channel receiver.

Each channel can be set to a separate frequency/channel.

The receiver can be locked to one channel of it can scan through all three channels sequentially.

The receiver comes with memory foam ear plugs.  External headphones or helmet speakers can be plugged into the receiver.

The receiver is powered by two AAA batteries which are supplied with the unit.

A holster is also supplied with the receiver.
