DRIVING STANDARDS

The Pre-2000 series is designed for ca rs that are more classic based along with more production type cars that would be considered "road race cars". Fully prepped race cars that fit the criteria are also welcome. What is not allowed is drivers that have a win at all costs approach and put themselves and others in danger of unnecessary car to car contact.

Any "car to car" contact that is made during any race, despite any penalties Motorsport NZ officials may apply will be investigated by the series and may be punished. Punishment may include your entry to the next or any further rounds being refused.

CAR LIVERY & NUMBERS

Car livery is open. Permanent race numbers should be applied for by the competitor to the series coordinator. If two or more cars arrive at the t rack with the same competition number then the permanent allocated number by the series will have precedence and the other cars will need to add another numeral.

SPONSORSHIP & DECALS

The series does not have a sponsor at this stage but should we attract one then the series would supply a decal that must be attached to the car. Size yet to be determined.

POINTS

Points will be allocated to every finisher of every race and will be based on their finishing position. Last place will be 5 points, second to last 10 points and go up in 5 point increments until the winner who would have 5 more points than second place.

We may consider breaking the group into different categories and have further points within those categories, but all cars will run for main points regardless.
